  1. The thirteenth of every month is always considered unlucky. The people long ago were going to make thirteen months in the year. They were going to divide the days evenly in each month. They were afraid to make it for they thought that every day in the thirteenth month would be unlucky. Every Monday and Thursday is thought lucky for making cures. Some cures can be made any other day in the week. Fridays is always considered unlucky to begin work, or change, or to get married. It is always unlucky to get married any day in May but June is a lucky month to
