  1. Stealing of French Chains:-
    They were stolen at West's place at Cloone, by a man named Keegan.
    Blake's Death :-
    Same as got from Ml Grimes. Blake's companion in death was a man named O'Dowd, of noble birth from Mayo. They were hanged by the Duke of Crofton (Mohill)
    "Captain Rock":-
    Tom O' Catháin (Kane) known as Captain Rock with a companion named Terry McGlavin fought very bravely at Ballinamuck. Catháin went to Manchester; became a manufacturer named Kane & gave much employment to people from this district.
    Barrack:- Built by Lady Ross - 1835. Old one was just opposite J. F. Cassidy's. Timber of it is in Cassidy's barn yet.
