Friday. The first Monday in the new year is called Handsome Monday because whatever you do well on that day you will do that well every Monday during the year for example washing. If you wash your hands or face in the dew on May Morning you can never get sun burned during the summer.
On Whit Sunday you are supposed to be drown in two foot of water. Candlemas Day is supposed to be a cock step on the dunkill longer than the shortest day in the year. It is unlucky to begin an important piece of sewing on Friday.
