There were people named Phelim Cassidy living in a house near the fort and the woman left boiled potatoes in a basket on the floor and when she arose in the morning the potatoes were gone and two or three half-crowns left on the basket.
- In Pat Carney's field of Kiltycreevagh there is a Fort. Called the Fairy's Fort". There was an old apple tree growing in it and no one could take the apples off it at night because there were Fairy's at the foot of it. From "Carney's Fort" you can see another Fort which belongs to Dan McLoughlin Drummon. There is a pass from Carney's to another Fort which belongs to Terence Smith of Kiltycreevagh. There was a man named John Heslin of Kiltycreevagh. He saw the Fairy's riding horses round Smith's Fort and he(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
