- There is an old rath in Mr Johnnie Walsh's moor, just as you turn round towards the shop at the foot of the road going down to Aclare from the school.It is said that in years gone by, no-one culd keep cows in the field where the rath is. A woman dressed all in white used to appear at night-time on certain nights during the week and she was seen driving and milking the cows.Although the people who stayed up at night and watched her milking the cows, they would not be milked at all, but the cows used to be lame(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
