"traveller" who lived in Irish St,3. Ben Stacey father of Billy Stacey and uncle of Dick Stacey of Irish St, was a dealer who bought goods from pedlars and sent the stuff away.4. Pat Reilly who lived about 60 years ago was known as a "marine man" and he sent away goods. He was married to an Aunt of Tom Byrne of Irish St. They lived where Mr Thackaberry now has a store, and exchanged delph for pedlars wares.5. Ned Nolan owned two stores now(continues on next page)
