    In this locality people play many games on the Eves of certain feasts.
    On the Eve of Christmas people are very busy and there are noy many games played.
    On New Years Eve the local people wait up until to listen for the bells ringing in the New Year and ringing out the old one
    On St Stephen's Day the "Wren Boys" go around hunting the wren and singing. On St Patricks Day the people wear Shamrock in honour of him.
    On May Eve there is a bush put up some place around the house and it is dressed with egg shells, primroses, coloured ribbons, and many other things. This is called the May bush. It is said the faries are out on May Eve and that they do a lovely figure dance around the May bush.
