    married to-day. Two of the pairs came from near Horseleap and on pair came from near Clara. Mammy said that she heard that Mary was an unlcuky month to get married in.
    There is always a feast held in either the bride's or bridegroom's house.
    Straw-boys do not come to the marriage feast in our district.

  2. Kilbride Graveyard

    There is graveyard in Kilbride and a saint called Saint Brigid built a little church there.
    There is a cross on the side of the road in Kilbride too to mark a place on th road where a priest was killed off a horse. When a hearse passes that place it stops and the people take off the their hats.
