- There is a rock beside the pond called the Robber's Rock. It was called htat because a Robber used to live underneath it and hide treasure. This robber used to go to Horseleap and rob the mail coach going from Dublin to Galway. When he would get any treasure he would hide it under the rock. The robber's name was Ignatius Daly. The place has been dug up by Mr. Goodbody and his brother but they only got a few coins. So the value of the hidden treasure is not known. The place has not been dug since by anybody.
