he was son of Suibine and died on a pilgrimage to Glendalough. - An abbey was founded at Kinnitty in 557 when St. Finan surnamed Cam, and disciple of St. Brendan of Clonfert who died 576, was abbot of Kinnitty. St. Finian died 7 April but what year is not certain (probably about 655).(continues on next page)
