When he would take out the rods he had only to take them in his hands and the skin would peel off easily. He would make the basket then.

- Thomas Fee of Kilduff was a basket-maker. He was a well skilled man and made baskets, creels and hampers from nice, pliable, redsally rods. Some of the rods are growing there yet. He was a great scholar and died very young as his wife and(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
