- During the time of the Land League a man in Ballinaglera named Tom Brady took a neighbours farm. He was boycotted and had to go to Dromahair for all his goods with an ass and cart and the people used to follow him with drums and horns. They pulled off the meal and flour and tramped it on the road. Here is a little song concerning him.
