    it was seven or eight shillings per lb. and it was only at Christmas or on some speiceal feast (feast) that the people got tea and they got only one or two ounces at a time. The vessels used for drinking were called noggins and were made of wood and were shaped like this

    At Easter there was alway eggs eaten and games were played.
