    Hidden Treasures
    Not far from my home is a large wood .In the midst of this is a spot called Robbers Island .It seems from tradition it is so re-mote that it was inhabited by robbers.No more suitable place could they find for their abode.Tall hazels form a dense thicket and some shell of mason work still remains to mark the spot where they lived.
    A good many hidden treasures have been found here .Among them a peculiar treasure.One day a man was cutting turf near this island.As he was cutting he found a pair of old slippers.He took them up and examined them.THey were of a very ancient design. When he was finished he went home with
