On Palm Sumday when the palm comes home a branch of it is put up in the roof of the cow house. This is a protection from milk fever during the year.
On Easter Saturday when the holy water comes home, some of it is sprinkled on the cows and in the cow houses for God to remind the people who is minding them to be kind to them during the year.(continues on next page)- Collector
