    About one hundred years ago an old man by the name of John Groarc lived in the village of Spaddagh. He was a man that had always very strange dreams when ever anything was about to occur. At this particular time he dreamed three concetive nights about a treasure. This he was told about, three nights and he was told that the only way in which he could find the treasure was he had to find a blacksmith that would hand him a live coal of fire three times over a certain stone while Mass was being said.
