  1. There was once a man by the name of James Duffy and he lived in Clooncrim and he was a great mower. Long ago they had no mowing machines like they have now. They had only hooks and scythes. James used to mow five roods of hay in the day. He used to mow for all the village people. This was done about This was done about fifty years ago. When this man died the people of the village was very sorry for him.
