In olden times people used to be over thirty years of age before they ever wore boots. Over one hundred and fifty years ago there lived a man by the name of John Rushe and he never wore a boot. Certain people in the village never wore a boot, because they thought when boots came out first they thought that the were traps and if the people put them on, they thought that they would not be able to take them off.
