    These were commonly known as a "flail." Then they put two or three sheaves together and began beating them with the "flail" on the grain side.
    Then they brought the grain to a quern which was in Tulrahan and ground it into wheat flour. They brought it home and wet it a little with milk, and baked it before the fire. When it was baked they left it out on the window-sill to cool. After a while they brought it in and ate it with milk. When ever any member of the family was going
