    A barn school existed in my district some time ago. It is marked out on the south side of Joe Kennys house.
    It also marked as a school on the map of Urlar. The last teacher that taught in that school was Thomas Haughig from near Kilkelly. Each one the scholars had to keep him in there homes in their turn.
