  1. Between Glan Church and Orlar stands Uoe na h-Alcora. This is a large rock which was used as a Mass long ago. Once upon a time there was a priest's servant going on a message for the priest. At that time the priests lived on shores of lakes and lonely places.
    When he was returning spies followed him over Orlar road and overtook him on a mound near where the priest lived and shot him dead.
    He was buried there and a tree grew over his grave and there is a light to be seen gong round the tree
