  1. There are a lot of animals on the farm throughout the district. The most important animal on the farm is the cow. The cow gives us milk and butter and rears calves. When the farmer is driving the cow in the evening he "dursh". When a person is calling the cow to feed her they say "suck". When a person is calling a young calf to milk they say "suck". The cows are put into the cowhouse at night. There is a beam across the barn and a rope tied to it. A chain is then
