  1. Long ago the old people used to have different kinds of furniture. They used to have a chair made out of straw for a bed. Each person would have a separate one for himself. The kind of cups they used to have were wooden noggins. the kind of chairs they used to have were made out of rods. They would boil them in a pot until they would change colour. Then they would make the chairs out of them. Sometimes they might get a plank in ashore. If they would they would employ a man for one day to make stools and chairs out of it. They had also another sugan chair called a boss. It was made with a straw rope and a stick.
