  1. The moon: if there is a ring round the moon it is the sign of bad weather. The nearer the ring the farer the rain. If a fog comes with a new moon it is the sign of good weather, and if a fog comes with an old moon it is the sign of bad weather.
    The sun: It is the sign of rain if there are beams from the sun, and if there is a ring round the sun it is the sign of good weather.
    The stars: To see the stars falling it is the sign of roughness.
    The cat: It is the sign of a storm to see the cat scraping
    The dog: It is the sign of bad weather to see a dog eating grass.
