  1. The sky is cloudy and dark, the moon does not show its proper light and the starts are covered when it is going to rain. The cat sits on the hearth wiping his whiskery hair; the dog goes eating grass and mutton-bones. The hens collect together and begin picking their feathers for a long time.
    The swallows fly near to the ground.
    "The soot falls down, the spaniel sleeps
    And the spider from his cobweb creeps
    The wind begins to blow
    The clouds look black and the glass is low".
    When the moon is on here back and the two ends of it are turned up, it is a sign of bad weather.
