    of the rough seas. After about an hour battling with the heavy seas her last mast gave away, and her crew of twenty-one went to their watery grave forever. Of the whole crew only seven bodies were found. They were washed in on the opposite shore. The barque afterwards was washed up on the shore further up the river opposite a place named Darby's, where she was broken to pieces.
    The "Stowel Brown" she came from town

    They carried her home in their arms.
