    boyling a goat(?) which was found in the logs and other people dyed it with coppoxous (?) and log-wood. The people then knit useful articles of clothing for the family.
    If there happened to be a weaved in the locality the thread was sent to him to be woven into cloth. There was a weaver in this locality whose name was Mc Kilpatrick and he lived in lebpore (?). In some houses there were looms and the people did the work themselves.
