- (4.) These cures were collected by Annie Kerrigan from Mrs Allingham, Tullyhurk, Ballyshannon.(1) Toothache was cured by putting a little pepper or salt in the tooth.(2) Headache was cured by putting a little drop of vinegar on the crown of the head.
- (1) Stone Bruises.Poultices were used for stone bruises in former times. A poultice of white bread with sugar over the top was supposed to be(continues on next page)
