    Here are the two principal Roman Catholic Churches of this parish.

    Here are the two principal Roman Catholic churches of this parish.
    The Crossroads Church stands on the site of the former church which figures in Fr. Walter Hegarty’s Notes on “The Plantation of the Finn Valley.
    As most of the material is already published in the “Derry Journal,” there is little or nothing to add. Several people recall its erection e.g. Mr. Patrick Kelly Ballyarrel Crossroads. Fr Walter Hegarty has paid special attention to the succeeding generations of clergy officiating in the parish, since the Plantation.
