  1. There are potatoes grown on our farm each year. We grow about three acres of potatoes each year.
    Sometimes we plant more and sometimes less according to the size of the field.
    There are different kinds of potatoes grown on our farm. At first we plough the ground with a plough. Then we harrow and cultivate it and then we open the drills. We scatter manure between every two drills and the potatoes are dropped and the drills closed again with a drill plough.
    During the summer months the potatoes are first saddle harrowed and then moulded. Then they are grubbed, hoes and moulded again.
