  1. A story is told about a man who lived at the bottom of Binion Hill, which is situated about a half a mile from this. school. He was married and had a son and a daughter. The son was called George and the daughter was called Bell They were called Monteiths.
    The father died a young man when the family were small. When the son grew up he was afraid he would not get the farm. One day his mother fell very sick and the neighbours around gathered in to see her. She was dead before they were aware of the fact.
