  1. A Local Song (continued)

The good old summer is come again

    (continued from previous page)
    dew does fall
When the morning sun comes peeping out sure then you'll hear me call,
Run away to the shade of the tree,
Run away to the shade of the tree,
That's the place for me,#This very hot sun can make me run away to the shade of the tree.
    IIII
But the Summer it will vanish
And the heat it will decay,
For remember that december is not the month of May,
Great storms will be rising and the winds will start to blow,
The cold cold frost will be on the ground,
And the hills will be clad with snow,
Run away to the shade of the tree,
    That's the place for me,
The frost and snow can make me go
Away to the shade of the tree
    V
Great storms will be rising and you'll see the tide will swell,
