    was left warm. The saw-dust took fire and burned the mill and the yard.
    There was also another burning in Newtown about two or three years ago. It was a grocer shop. The fire took place early in the morning and no account could be given for it. They sent for the fire brigade but it could not succeed in getting the fire out.
    There was an epidemic in Ireland about nineteen and eighteen. They called it a flu. It took partly as many with it as did the great war. About fifty years ago there was a whooping cough in Ireland. Many children died with it.
