  2. The Man and the Leprechaun
Once upon a time there was a man and he was very poor altogether. The land-lord burnt his house on him and turned him out on the side of the road. The man went into a ship and the captain took him with him. They sailed on until they came in sight of land. The captain left him ashore. The country was filled with trees and mountains. The man had to sleep out for he had no house.
