    all he heard. Then himself and his wife got ready with spades and shovels and lanterns in the dark of the night he went to the withered hawthorn and started to dig until he found the yelow pot of gold; then himself and his wife went home contented and happy with themselves they weren't grumbling any more about how poor they were. They lived happy after that again and they had enough of gold that would last them a life-time.
