    Cure got chilblains = Rub an onion of them.
    Cure for a burn = Rub the skin of a raw egg on it.
    Cure for teethaches = Put whiskey and red pepper on them.
    Cure for swelling = There is a cure for swelling in every knot of chicken weed.
    Cure for a sting of an insect = Rub a blue bag of it and it will take the poisin out of it.
    Cure for sting of a nettle = Rub a dock leaf of it.
    Cure for a wart = Hide a piece of bacon in the dung-heap and as the meat rotted the wart would fade away.
    Cure for a China Cough = Give milk to a ferret to drink and all he would leave after him give it to the patient to drink and the China Cough would go.
