  1. Churning
    We have a machine churn at home which is about a foot and a half high and is sixteen inches at top and bottom.
    The sides are round and is ten years old.
    There various parts of the churn are the lid the handle the dash and the screw. There is no mark on any side of it.
    The butter is made once a week in winter and twice a week in summer.
    My mother does the churning and strangers who come in while churning help at the work.
    It is said that they would bring the butter if they would not help at the work.
    The churning takes an hour in winter and half an hour in summer and is done by hand.
    The churn dash is always moved upwards and downwards while churning.
    The people know the butter is
