If you happen to suffer from ringworm, go to a person named Walsh, and get him to bleed his finger. Let his blood drop on the affected part and the disease will disappear.
Wash your teeth in soot or salt.
    Boiled nettles purify the blood.
A smoke from a pipe containing string tobacco is supposed to cure a toothache.
Old people recommend holding a burned hand close to the fire (to burn out the pain).
    Cream will cure sun burn.
If you had a sty on your eye, make the sign of the cross on the eyelid with your mother's marriage ring.
A Black snail placed on a wart, and afterwards on a thorny bush is believed to effect a certain cure, provided the sufferer is fasting, and this action is performed in the early morning.
The snail dies on the bush, and at the same time, the wart vanishes.
