  1. It is said that there is a lough on top of Thur and at the bottom of this lough there is supposed to be a crock of gold.
    Once upon a time a man dreamt three nights after other that he found the gold.
    So, on the third day he set out to work and see if he could drain the lough and get the gold.
    He brought one of his sons with him. As soon as he had the lough drained he saw a small man coming up to him and he was no bigger than your knee. He told the man and his son to look and see whose was the house on fire.
