  1. The following are a list of animals which are kept on the farm: cows, horses, pigs, goats, sheep, hens, ducks, geese and turkeys. In this district a cowhouse is called a byre. Cows are tied by by the neck in this district. The tyings that are around her neck are made by a twisted bag.
    A pig is called this way "hurrish hurrish, hurrish." The date is written on the eggs before hatching. A hen is called in this way, "tiocfaid, tiocfaid, tiocfaid". The little chickens are called in this way "birdie, birdie, birdie". "Suck, suck, suck" is the way in which calves are called. The horse is a very useful animal. His house is a stable. We must take great care of a horse. Hay are rushes are thrown in the stable for his bed.
