    I saw this game played at a wake in Shanagarvanagh Parish of Ballinaglera, Co. Leitrim, fifty five years ago.

  2. On one occasion, the trick was being played at a wake at which a strange man was present. The stranger asked the 'leader' of the trick to be allowed to join in the game. The 'leader' answered "Yes, and you will get the full of your arms a girl". When the trick was finished the stranger refused to let go his hold of the girl. He was promised he would get her.
