  1. Once there was a man who had been married only a short time. He was very despondent and would not talk to his wife. A neighbouring woman came to the house and she said "she'd take talk out of him." Out she went, caught a rooster, plucked all the feathers off him and let him run through the kitchen. The man opened his eyes, in astonishment, at the sight. He began to laugh heartily and said:- "Dearc an coileach."
