  1. 1) One day to a friend, ten shillings I lent. There were thirty pieces and three. They were neither 2 pennies, three pennies, 4 pennies or 5 pennies; what sort of pieces had he?
    Ans: There were 3 half crowns and 30 pennies.
    2. Says the child to the father, "How did it come that your my father and I'm not your son?"
    Ans: Daughter
    3. "Good morning young man and your wife behind you" (she was behind him on the horse.) "She's not my wife," says he. "And she never intents to be." But my father got her father. What relation is she to me?" Ans: Daughter
    4. Three sisters where passing by a grave-yard. The first said, "Ill go in till I pray for my sister's daughter" The second said she'd do the same. The third said "I have no sister's daughter buried there"
    Ans: (It was her own daughter who was buried in the graveyard.)
