  1. There was once a woman who used to get up very early every morning.
One morning she got up when the sun was rising and walked to Galway a distance of twenty miles and on her way she knitted a stocking.
When she arrived in Galway she did her business. Then she started home again and knitted another stocking as she was walking along. She landed at home on the same night before the sun had set, with a pair of stockings knitted. She lived in the next village to me - in Cross, and she lived to be the age of 94 years.
