    Care of feet. 8-6-'38
The people long ago used wear shoes at the age of 18 or 19 years.
My father told me about some people who never wore shoes.
    (1) Mrs Golding of Fairhill.
    (2) Mrs Verdon of Vermount.
Children go bare - footed from May to September.
When the people used wash their feet they would be afraid to throw out the water because they would dream of the fairies.
    Lena Laheen,
    Menloughbeg.
    Told by my father Pat.
    Patrick Laheen

    Aged 70 years.
