  1. A forge is generally situated near a cross-roads. The walls are made of stones and mortar, and roofed with thatch.
    There are five forges in my parish. Most of them have a big double door. The blacksmith uses many implements - a sledge, a rasp, a vice, a pinchers, a nail cutter, a hammer, and he uses an anvil for heating the hot iron on when making horse shoes and other small articles.
    He uses a water trough for cooling the hot iron. The bellows is used for blowing the fire. Sometimes the
