momument with steps up to it in memory of the dead, which the maunsells built out of head stone. But Bishop O Dea gave it away to be made into sand for the Clifden railway and built a small one instead of it. It is now a green field with the head stone in it in honor of the dead. Maunsells road is so called, because a family named Maunsello lived there.
