    1. Boil bark of oak tree in water and it will dye dark brown.
    2. Boil white crisp that grows on rock or tree.
    This will dye light brown..
    3. Heather when boiled will dye pink.
    4. Onion skins boiled will give mustard colour.
    5. Cut up and boil briar and it will dye red.
    6. Whin blossoms boiled will give yellow.
    7. Elder berries when boiled will give purple.
    These are dyes for woollen cloth.
