- I don't believe in ghosts or fairies or nonsense of that kind. Yes, I cut the "lone bush" that was in the way when we were making up the new road through Mullaghgarve. No, I was none the worse for doing it. Yes, I heard that Pee Dolan cut one of these bushes, and that he took ill in a couple of days afterwards and never got out of that sickness till death swept him.

either. Some of them may be small and some are big. A man like Hugh McGovern who has ten or twelve cows will have a big churn while I have a smaller one(continues on next page)
