- (continued from previous page)was tired I fell asleep soon after going to bed, but my wife told me they kept up the din till daylight. She did not know that I had any bones home with me till next morning, for if she did I am sure she would make me put them outside the house.
- About 30 years ago myself and my wife were going on a visit to a neighbour's house at dusk. We took a short -cut through the fields, as it was bright enough to do so. When we got into the second field from my house we noticed a little girl dressed in black with a small gallon in her hand. I thought it was a young relative of mine who was fond of playing tricks so we walked quickly to see what he was going to do. When I first noticed her she was about 15 yards from us, and no matter how fast we walked she kept this distance from us without any effort.
